Set Up Client and Product Lists

Add a customer to your client list

With Invoice2go, you can create new client listings or upload existing clients and access these records whenever you need to create and send invoices. Also, when adding clients from a mobile device, you can reference your mobile contact list and create them as a customer in your client list.

In client details, you can store your customer's email address, billing information, shipping details and other important unique identifiers like pre-set terms and tax numbers.

With location services enabled for Invoice2go on your mobile device, important client information can be stored and shown based on your current location. For example, you can drop map pins for where your clients are location and where you do business for them, and then see in relation where these jobs relate to other work you do for other clients.

Add a product to your product list

Your Invoice2go product list is where you can easily store what products and services you sell your customers.

Adding products to your list before you head out on the job site will help optimize your invoicing on the go experience — after you complete the job, just add products to your invoice from your product list and send it off to your customer in less than a minute.

Product lists can house actual physical products you sell like "light bulbs" or services you render like "changing out outside garage light bulbs." If you are an inventory business, you can enable the Product Code option within Settings and your product codes will show up on your invoices. If you are bill your customers by labor performed but also charge them for the parts you use, you can separate out Parts & Labor on your products to help your customers know exactly what they are paying for.
