Create and Send an Invoice

 

Invoicing your clients through Invoice2go is a quick and easy process — creating and sending an invoice from your mobile device or personal computer can be done in a matter of seconds.

Creating invoices is an essential part of your company that help record the business you've completed. Invoice2go invoices help you save time, get paid faster and help you stay organized.

It doesn't matter whether you prefer working from your Android, iPhone, Tablet or Computer, Invoice2go allows you to create invoices from wherever you are. And if you like to mix and match — use iPhones on the weekdays and Computers on the weekends — your information is always up-to-date across all your devices. Everything you do is backed up to the cloud and stored for safekeeping.

You can create invoices on Android, iOS and the web from a computer. When you send out your invoices from your mobile device, they are sent through the default email app on the device; when you are working from the web, they are sent from the Invoice2go web app.

iPhone and iPad

  1. From the home screen, tap on the green Invoice Plus button
  2. Select Invoice
  3. Add a client from your client list by tapping the Client Plus button
  4. Add a product from your product list by tapping the Item Plus button
  5. Tap on the Action button 
  6. Select Email
  7. Send email

Android

  1. From the home screen, tap on the green Invoice Plus button
  2. Select Invoice
  3. Add a client from your client list by tapping the Client Plus button
  4. Add a product from your product list by tapping the Item Plus button
  5. Tap on the Action button
  6. Select Email
  7. Send email

Web

  1. From the home screen in the bottom right corner, click on the green Invoice Plus button
  2. Select Invoice
  3. Add a product from your product list or type it in
  4. Add a client from your client list by clicking the Add Client button
  5. In the top menu invoice header, click Send
  6. Click Send to email invoice
  7. Click Save

Helpful Tips

  • On the Pro plan or higher, you’ll be able to see when your client has read your email
  • Emails sent from a mobile device send from your default email
  • The email address for your client will automatically be filled in from the client info in your clients list
