How Customers Pay Online

Invoice2go has partnered with Stripe to not only allow you to more easily send debit and credit payments, but also so your customer can have hassle free payments experience.

After you enable debit and credit card payments, every invoice you send will include a "Pay Now" button for customers who want to use a debit or credit card. This "Pay Now" button links to an online payment form where customers can pay your invoices. If you have provided a PayPal account, a link to PayPal will be added on the payment page as additional payment option. You can see how this works here.

Your customer then clicks on the "Pay Now" button to make a secure payment. A transaction fee of 2.9% + $0.30 is subtracted from the total amount paid.

When your money is ready, you will receive an email from Invoice2go informing you your customer has paid you.

Helpful Tips

  • Email yourself an invoice to better understand how the experience works for your customers. You can test it out by paying your own invoice. *Note to avoid paying a transaction fee on a test invoice to yourself, make sure you issue a refund.
